In your shoes
For the project 'design a shoe', I took the project name quite literally. I designed a shoe fitting to the person in whose shoes I'd really want to be: Sanne Wevers. Sanne won the silver medal on beam on the 2015 World Cup in Glasgow, and her famous gold medal in the 2016 Olympic Games. After these successes, it was soon announced that she'd design her first line of leotards which resembled her gold-winning leotards from Rio.
On the World Cup in Glasgow, Sanne was one of the only gymnasts who used small shoes. She did this to compensate for the softness of the beam which she wasn't used to. Based on this fact and the announcement that she had designed her first leotard, I decided to design a shoe which could fit in the clothing line. See the (edited) advertisement below.
