Save the bees
Campaigning | Children | Bees
How can we all do our part in helping the bees? The increasing problem around the existence of the bees was the subject for an entire period in our class. And I thought it shouldn't only be the subject in our class, but in many, many others. So that's why I decided to make the Bee Helpful Bee Hive. |
This box which looks just like a bee hive contains everything a bee hive needs, except for bees. Plus, the honey filled frames are replaced with frames containing a fun exercise, a quiz or songs.
The box is designed for children aged 4 tot 12 on primary school. The exercises differ from age to age and have different ways of teaching young children about the importance of bees. It contains sport exercises like Bee-Taggers and the Bee Boogie (the Hokey Pokey), art ideas like making paper bees, beehives or create bees with your feet, bee-themed french classes and even arithmetic with honey hexagons. Also, there is one frame which focuses just on why and how we should help the bees to stay alive.
Long story short, this box would be perfect on any primary school or perfect to function as an idea box for beekeepers.
